Dear DPHC Members,
First of all, Happy Holidays to you and our sincere wish
that you and your families have a great beginning to the
New Year. As the 2006 DPHC season draws to a close, I want
to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you
for the involvement and support you have given to the DPHC
this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to
serve as your President and am looking forward to the 2007
season.
We closed our 2006 season with a well attended and
successful DPHC Florida Fall Classic Futurity and Zone 9
Show in Jacksonville. Congratulations to all our members
that were the recipients of pay-outs, jackpots, and prizes
totaling $40,000. Check out our website www.dixiephc.com

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the DPHC
General Membership Meeting that is scheduled for Saturday,
January 20, 2007 at 8:00 PM at the Clarcona Horseman’s Park
in Apopka, FL in conjunction with our first horse show of
the season. This is a two judge show with free Youth,
Novice Amateur and Amateur classes with a paid 2007
membership and at least one paid Open class (same
horse/rider). According to the DPHC By-laws, our members
must be informed 30 days prior to the General Membership
meeting.
You will find the 2007 Membership Form for the new season,
the show calendar on our web site. We will be inducting
our 2007 Officers and Board of Directors and laying out the
2007 season. The 2006 Year-end Award winners will be
announced as well.
